Facebook launches Messenger Rooms for unlimited video calls with up to 50 people Today Facebook has unveiled its response to the crazy growth of Zoom over the past few weeks of the COVID-19 related lockdowns happening pretty much worldwide. Facebook Messenger already had video chat functionality, but it was limited both in the total number of people allowed to participate, and also in its requirement that all of them have a Facebook account. With the new Messenger Rooms, that changes. First up, you can host video chats of up to 50 people, and those who don't have a Facebook account can still join - they'll receive a link to the Room you have created. With one click they can then join the conversation - just like with Zoom. Importantly, Messenger Rooms has no time limit whatsoever. If you join a Room through the Messenger app, then you can play with AR effects and new features like immersive backgrounds and mood lighting. The creator of a Room chooses who can see and
WhatsApp expands group video chats, now allows up to 8 members In today’s world of social distancing, communicating with people for leisure or work often requires some sort of video conference calls. Microsoft and Google have their own platforms for that purpose, but WhatsApp wants to join the game too. The Facebook service is planning to expands its group video chat function to allow up to 8 members. The app is currently in beta, but testers on iOS and Android can download it.     Here's how to add participants in a video call Earlier this month, WhatsApp started offering video calls of up to 4 people and now it plans to extend the limit twofold. However, given the feature is still in beta, it might take some time to reach all users. There’s also the limitation of people using an old version, something that is probably taking care during the test process. Given how Facebook positions WhatsApp as a messaging service to your closest friends and family, the extended amoun
Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Introduction The Xiaomi Mi 10 series premiered back in February, but it took a while for Xiaomi to release the devices around the world. Well, the wait is over, and the Mi 10 phones are now available in many Western markets. The first stop for our review train is the premium Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G and we can't wait. Choo-choo! The Mi 10 Pro is a proper flagship and a worthy addition to the iconic series. But it is also much more. Previous Mi phones carefully matched cherry-picked flagship features with a reasonable price tag. But with the Mi 10 Pro, the maker has gone all-in - no limits, no restrictions - it's the complete package top to bottom. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G has it all - a curved 90Hz OLED, the latest Snapdragon 865, a large battery with super-fast charging, and all-round connectivity options complete with 5G. But Xiaomi went above and beyond its usual take on the camera and we get the premium camera from Mi Note 10 with the same 108MP primary

OnePlus 8 Pro hands on and specification

Along with the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, the company is also debuting its subtle change in its branding. The OnePlus logo has a new font, and the ONEPLUS tramp stamp on the back is in all-CAPS typeface. The 8 Pro looks like its predecessors (7 Pro and 7T Pro), but the most notable (visual) differences are the extra camera on the back, and the lack of a pop-up selfie camera in favor of a punch-hole version. Most of the changes to the 8 Pro are internal and in the camera system. In addition to the Snapdragon 865 and built-in support for 5G, RAM has been updated to LPDDR5, the display is now a tad taller, brighter, and supports a higher 120Hz display mode, and wireless charging is finally a feature on a OnePlus phone with support for reverse wireless charging as well! flipkart resumes taking orders on mobile

Amazon, Flipkart and other e-commerce websites allowed to deliver non-essential items Earlier this week, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the extension of lockdown until May 3 to curb the coronavirus spread. However, new guidelines published by the government suggest that ecommerce companies can start delivering non-essential goods from April 20. Last month, when Modi announced a 21-day nationwide lockdown, the government restricted ecommerce firms to deliver only essential goods such as food, groceries, staples, and medical supplies. These new relaxations will let people order other items such as electronics, mobile phones, and clothes from online retailers again. Walmart-owned Flipkart said in a statement that it’s working with sellers to prepare them for safe packaging and delivery: As a marketplace e-commerce player, we at Flipkart believe that it is our responsibility to enable sellers and the MSME (Micro ,  Small ,  and Medium Enterprises) community to bo
Samsung Galaxy A71 gets disappointing DxOMark camera  The  Samsung Galaxy A71  was tested by DxOMark and got middling results – with an overall score of 84, it either matched or was left behind phones in its class. This phone is comparable to last year’s Galaxy A50 as well as other mid-rangers such as the Moto One Zoom and Nokia 7.2 (but those two are cheaper). The main 64MP camera offers impressive dynamic range, beating the iPhone 11 and Pixel 3a, for example. Color rendering is mostly okay (though white balance tends towards blue). So, where did it all go wrong? Despite boasting a high resolution sensor, the images from the phone don’t actually have all that much detail. Also, the relatively large 1/1.72” sensor behind an f/1.8 aperture needs to drop the shutter speed quite a bit in the dark. Low-light photos still come out underexposed, also the autofocus was far from perfect . The ultra wide camera has a pretty wide lens indeed (12mm). That leads to noticeable geometric
Huawei P40 r eview Introduction The compact flagship - it's a niche fewer dare to explore, no matter potential or demand. Sony has given up on the Compact series, unfortunately, and the iPhone SE 2 is in a Schrödinger's state of uncertainty for all we know. But Huawei P40 is already here, already available worldwide, and it brings a ton of premium perks stuffed into a pocket-friendly body. The P40 is the smallest and least expensive of the new P40 series trio by Huawei. It relies on a more reasonably sized 6.1" OLED screen, although 60Hz instead of 90Hz, with similar sharpness and boasts Huawei's top-of-the-line Kirin 990 5G chip. The screen vibrates to make sound just like on the other P40's, and the under-display fingerprint scanner is of equal rapidity and accuracy. Being a (P)hotography-centric smartphone, the P40 also offers some of the key camera features found on its Pro siblings like the new 50MP main shooter, complete with the RYYB filter, OIS,
